Rich Knowledge Meetings

Many times synchronous communication, i.e., in real time, is preferred to asynchronous communi-cation. Rapid response to ideas will result in an efficient dialog to creativity and lower the risk for misunderstanding
In asynchronous communication like email, discus-sion boards, the time delay to a response may damper a discussion.
Rich Knowledge Meeting tool makes it easy to have rich meetings even if you are geographical apart. You talk to each other, you can see each other, you can share documents, and co-operate using the other Laboranova tools. And since you are using your normal computer you will have full access to your email, calendar, and all your files. You also have the whole World Wide Web just a click away. In many cases you can have better meetings than if you were co-located.
The steps taken in using this tool are:

   schedule a meeting

   invite the participants

   join the meeting

   start send video

communicate using audio, chat, shared whiteboard for text and graphics, and shared application to be able to interactively collaborate around ideas

The more media used in collaboration the more the human communication bandwidth will increase

The Rich Knowledge Meeting tool will add audio, video, chat, shared whiteboard, shared application and thereby make it possible to have a lively synchronous communication

Rich Knowledge Meeting tool will thereby be a complement to the other tools in the Laboranova tool set to support the ideation process
