What is Greatlinks? Greatlinks, is the next generation web search. It provides you with a collaborative search mode: Searching together, means that you profit from your peers recommendations and you spend less time searching by yourself.

Is Greatlinks for you? If you answer yes, to any of the follwing questions, then Greatlinks is for you.
  • If one of your peers finds an interesting result appearing for instance on page 10 of Google, would you like to see this result appearing on page1?
  • When you find an interesting link would you like to have a convenient way to recommend it to your peers?
How does Greatlinks work? Greatlinks works on top of your favorites search engines (Google, etall…) Greatlinks combines your favorite search engine results with the recommendations from your team(s). So when you issue a search query, the search engine results are reordered according to your team(s) recommendations. Greatlinks is a mashup combining your traditional search engine with web2.0 collaborative features.

Is Greatlinks easy to use? Greatlinks does not change your search habits. You continue to search using your usual Google like search environment. Greatlinks simply augments the search result page. You can select a collaborative search mode oprtion. When you turn the collaborative serach mode on, search results are automatically reordered according to your peers group recommendations. Morever, you can also filter results according to topiccs.
